Many products offer a “Joule rating” as a pseudo endurance rating with no way to relate this rating to actual endurance. Zero Surge had its technology tested and certified to 1,000 worst-case surges with no degradation.
Tru-Block Technology has a 1,000 surge endurance rating, coupled with a 10 year warranty. While all manufacturers know their critical ratings, when the ratings are poor, they are reluctant to disclose this information and promote unimportant ratings instead.
